Assistant Coach

Brandon Jantz

AS A PLAYER Brandon Jantz grew up playing soccer locally for youth clubs such as Temecula Alliance and San Diego Surf. His youth was centered around soccer and this is what sparked his passion and love for the beautiful game. Jantz has an extensive professional background playing for the Orange County Zodiac, Boston Bulldogs, Cape Cod Crusaders, Amble FC, and San Diego Gauchos for a total of 6 years. Throughout his playing career Jantz broke and set multiple records and collected a handful of playing accolades. This list includes scoring 42 goals in one season for his high school, tallying 90 total season points in one year for his high school, winning the U19 Super Group Championship in the San Diego Surf Cup, winning a Premier Development League Championship, winning a United Soccer League Professional Divisional Championship, and being featured in the 1998 Nike TV Commercial for the World Cup. AS A COACH Jantz began coaching at age 19 as a way to give back to the soccer community. He was able to connect to his fans and the various communities he played in through professional player appearances, training sessions, camps, and clinics. While playing in Northumberland England in 2001 Jantz began coaching for the Trident Soccer Academy until his return to California in 2006. Since being back in California Jantz has coached for TVSA Hawks, Three Lions, Arsenal FC, Legends FC, and founded Trident Football Academy US with the goal being to send players to Europe for professional and youth trials. Currently Jantz holds a US "B" License and a Scottish FA Youth License. COACHING PHILOSOPHY Jantz strives to create an attacking team that displays technical and tactical excellence, but more importantly he holds his players to the highest standards to achieve this vision. Players must have phenomenal technical ability, advanced football knowledge and insight, a strong mental character that reflects an individual who is more concerned about the greater good of the team than their personal needs, unmatched speed of foot and speed of play, and finally a love for the game, their club, and their supporters. Coach Jantz lives and breathes Temecula FC and he has high hopes for the clubs future. Jantz wants the club to have their own stadium and training grounds with the ability to give players from youth to professional everything they need to achieve their soccer goals.
